El ingreso a la Universidad implica un proceso de adaptación por parte de los estudiantes a una nueva “cultura” en la cual la tecnología ocupa un lugar central, resultando interesante el uso de las redes sociales, como herramientas de acercamiento de los alumnos a este nuevo ámbito que deberán transitar. El objetivo de este trabajo fue incorporar la red social Facebook como herramienta educativa para los alumnos del Curso de Biofísica de la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias, UNLP, durante los años 2016 y 2017, con el fin primordial de lograr un mayor entendimiento de las clases presenciales.
Los estudiantes se sintieron más contenidos y se vincularon mucho más al Curso y los propios docentes se vieron estimulados con el nivel de aceptación y de intercomunicación de esta modalidad, implementándola y mejorándola año a año.Admission to the University implies a process of adaptation by students to a new “culture” in which technology occupies a central place, resulting interesting the use of social networks, as tools of approach of the students to this new field that they will have to pass. The objective of this work was to incorporate the social network Facebook as an educational tool for the students of the Biophysics Course of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, UNLP during the years 2016 and 2017, with the primary goal of achieving a greater understanding of the face-to-face classes. The students felt more content and were much more linked to the Course and the teachers themselves were stimulated with the level of acceptance and intercommunication of this modality, implementing it and improving it year after year.Facultad de Ciencias Veterinaria
