El objetivo de este artículo es dar una revisión a la relación bilateral actual entre Chile y Argentina, analizando especialmente la influencia del Tratado de Maipú de Integración y Cooperación suscrito en el año 2009, y sus protocolos complementarios. Se plantea dar cuenta de la apuesta de la Presidenta Michelle Bachelet de “retomar y reimpulsar” dicho Tratado en el inicio de su segundo mandato, el año 2014, para lograr dar paso a la constitución de una alianza estratégica entre ambos países.The purpose of this article is to make an overview of the recent bilateral relation between Chile and Argentina. Particularly, it is very relevant to analyze the influence of the Treaty of Maipu, signed in 2009, and its additional protocols.
