Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada je prikaz utjecaja nemotoriziranog prometa prvenstveno na ljudski život, način života te klimatske promjene. U radu će se uvodno definirati nemotoriziran promet, pješačenje i biciklistički promet, njihove prednosti i nedostaci te ostale značajnosti povezane s nemotoriziranim prometom. Izvršit će se anketno istraživanje fokusirano na usporedbu hrvatskih i nizozemskih gradova po pitanju biciklističkog prometa. Na temelju anketnog istraživanja dobit će se uvid, kako funkcionira i izgleda hrvatska biciklistička infrastruktura u odnosu na nizozemsku biciklističku infrastrukturu. Iako je jako teško usporediti dvije države, koje nemaju isti geografski položaj, potrebno je dobiti osvrt koliko Republika Hrvatska zaostaje u pogledu biciklističke infrastrukture u odnosu na države kao što su Nizozemska, Danska, čak i najbližu susjednu državu Sloveniju.Subject of this paper is to review how much non – motorized traffic affects on human life, lifestyle and climate changes. In the introduction there will be defined non – motorized traffic, walking and bicycle traffic, their advantages and disadvantages and other significance associated with non – motorized traffic. It will be executed poll research focused of the comparison of Croatian and Dutch cities in terms of bicycle traffic. Based on poll research one will get insight how the Croatian cycling infrastructure works and looks in regard to the Dutch cycling infrastructure. Although it is very difficult to compare countries which do not have the same geographical position it is necessary to get a review how much Croatia lag in terms of cycling infrastructure in regarding to countries such as the Netherlands, Denmark, and maybe even the nearest neighbouring country Slovenia
