U ovom radu autor se bavi vjerskim naukom heretika Marciona iz Ponta nastojeći utvrditi njegovu povezanost s onovremenim gnostičkim sljedbama i ranim kršćanstvom. Uz to, nastoje se utvrditi i potencijalni drugi utjecaji, kao i međusobne sličnosti i razlike spomenutih gledišta. U tu svrhu pristupa se proučavanju različitih elemenata Marcionove vjerske misli, uključujući odnos prema razlikama između Staroga i Novog zavjeta te prema osobi i djelovanju Isusa Krista, kao i praktičnim načinima njezine provedbe u kontekstu 2. stoljeća.The author of this paper deals with the religious practices of Marcion heretics from Pont to affirm their relation to gnostic groups and early Christianity of those times. In addition to this, the potential influences, as well as common similarities and differences of already mentioned views, are to be discussed. For this purpose, various elements of Marcion’s religious thought, including the attitude towards differences between The Old Testament and The New Testament and the attitude towards Jesus Christ and his actions, along with its practical ways of implementation during the second century will be analyzed
