Abstract
This article deals with the programs broadcast on Channel 1 of Euskal Telebista. It is precisely through these programs and their content that one is able to know which image of the Basque country is offered to the viewers of this channel. As we are especially interested in the role played by the media in the development of collective identities, we analyzed the content of the programs shown on ETB-1 (the Basque National Television Channel which broadcasts in the Basque language).
