Estudio de viabilidad para la creación de la empresa AirStation. Responsable de dar servicio a las operadoras de Unmanned Air Taxis.

Abstract

This project arises from the need to bring a new mode of transportation to the population. Drones will arrive to cities to takle problems such as traffic congestion and greenhouse gas emissions. In the next 3-5 years, people will be able to travel between cities, to the airport or even to neighboring regions in a more effective, faster and more direct way. The technology has been studied for more than a decade and the first successful results are already beginning to be obtained .However, to ensure the success of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) it is necessary to provide cities with the necessary infrastructure, called vertiport, so that aircraft can land and take off from areas surrounded by buildings in a safe way. This project aims to study the feasibility of a company that would provide service to the companies operating air taxis, for this purpose the barriers and challenges that the sector faces have been identified, not only technological but also social. An ideal location has been sought among a few European candidate cities and the design of the vertiport has been carried out following the design manual recently published by EASA. Finally, the feasibility of the project is demonstrated through the development of a financial study.Objectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible::9 - Indústria, Innovació i InfraestructuraObjectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible::11 - Ciutats i Comunitats Sostenible
