Abstract
The Article lists the functions and tasks that project managers must carry out, as a preliminary and indispensable step, to identify the needs for preparation and development of strategies for their preparation. In order to contribute to the consolidation and diversification of doctoral training at and from the University of Las Tunas. The link between doctoral training and research project is recognized, and within the project, the guiding and integrating role of its boss. It was considered necessary to systematize the functions and tasks that they must perform, to solve prioritized problems of production and services and at the same time, train their researchers. Thus, the tasks of the scientific and administrative functions established in the official documents of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and the Ministry of Higher Education, are incorporated into the tasks of the pedagogical or training function of researchers, introducers, clients or others. The system character of the tasks and functions is argued, which integrate and complement each other.En el Artículo se relacionan las funciones y tareas que deben ejecutar los jefes de proyectos, como paso previo e indispensable, para identificar las necesidades de preparación y elaboración de estrategias para su preparación. Con el fin de contribuir a la consolidación y diversificación de la formación doctoral en y desde la Universidad de Las Tunas. Se reconoce el vínculo formación doctoral y proyecto de investigación y dentro del proyecto, el papel rector e integrador de su jefe. Se consideró necesario sistematizar las funciones y tareas que estos deben desempeñar, para dar solución a problemas priorizados de la producción y los servicios y al mismo tiempo, formar a sus investigadores. Así a las tareas de las funciones científica y administrativa establecidas en los documentos oficiales del Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología y Medioambiente y del Ministerio de Educación Superior, se incorporan las tareas de la función pedagógica o formativa de los investigadores, introductores, clientes u otros. Se argumenta el carácter de sistema de las tareas y funciones, que se integran y complementan entre sí
