Hubungan Karakteristik Ibu Hamil Trimester III dengan Kecemasan dalam Menghadapi Persalinan di Poliklinik Kebidanan dan Kandungan Rumah Sakit X Jakarta
Pregnancy is a dramatic episode of the biological conditions, physiological changes, and adaptation of a woman who've been there. Some women think that pregnancy is natural to go through, but some regard it as a decisive event to the next life. Since when pregnant, the mother was experiencing anxiety. Anxiety increased before labor, especially in the third trimester. The research objective is to determine the characteristics of third-trimester pregnant women (age, gravidities, and level of education, employment, and health status) and anxiety in the face of labor; determine the relationship between the characteristics of third-trimester pregnant women with anxiety in the face of labor. This research is a quantitative study using cross-sectional design. The number of sample 158 people. Sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Engineering analysis is conducted Chi-square analysis by using α 5%. Instruments used are Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) to measure the level of anxiety in the third trimester pregnant women in the face of labor. The results showed that of 158 respondents, three variables were not able to prove the existence of a relationship, namely age (p=0.873), employment (p=0.133), and health status (p=0.692), whereas the other variables are graviditas (p=0.005) and education level (p=0.05) can prove statistically significant relationship with anxiety in the face of labor. So the researchers suggest that Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic X provide useful consulting services for pregnant women to avoid the anxiety in the face of labor.
