Analisis Pengelolaan Modal Kerja dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Likuiditas dan Profitabilitas (Studi pada PT. Gudang Garam Tbk Periode 2014-2016)

Abstract

Working capital is an important element for the company because without sufficient working capital, the operational activities of a company can not be carried out. The amount of working capital required by the company, is strongly influenced by the business activities of the company. Liquidity and profitability are very important for a company, because it is used as a reference. The type of research used is descriptive research. The data used is the financial statements of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk year 2014 - 2016 covering balance sheet and income statement. The data are each obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and www.gudanggaramtbk.com. After the data processing, the results showed that if a company improve its working capital then the company can improve liquidity and profitability in the company. PT. Gudang Garam Tbk every year is trying to improve its working capital even though its liquidity and profitability are still not stable. However in each year PT. Gudang Garam Tbk has shown improved working capital seen from the current ratio which increases in each year
