Kajian Teknis Penerapan Generalisasi Peta Rupabumi Indonesia (Rbi) Dari Skala 1: 50.000 Menjadi Skala 1:250.000

Abstract

Topographic Map of Indonesia is a base map that gives information for land area. Availability database of topographic features in various levels of scale is the mandate set forth in Law No. 4 Year 2011 about Geospatial Information. Based on Government Regulation No. 8 of 2013, basic map with all characteristic throughness became basis creation of a map spatial plan area (RTRW). One method that can be used in topographical database is a generalization. Generalization map is a map simplification process while maintaining the main characteristics of these maps. The area studied is 24 Map Sheet Number (NLP) scale of 1: 50.000 or 1 equivalent of NLP scale of 1: 250.000 which represents two distinct topography are mountainous and coastal. The method that used are selection of generalization, simplification, and merger, except contours that reshaped from Digital Surface Model. Diminution of the scale from 1: 50.000 to 1: 250.000 in the process of generalization effect appearance of a point, line and that changes in the length and area. Database of topographical scale of 1: 50.000 to 1: 100.000 produce sum of the objects about 70,71%, then the scale of 1: 100.000 to 1: 250.000 about 63,25% for equality Radical Law. Technical guide of generalization medium scale is suitable for application on a small scale, except the element of transport utilities that do not meet percent Radical Law and elements of land cover at a scale of 1: 250.000 that can not meet the geometric shape of the characteristic elements of cover in the field
