APPLICATION OF LEARNING CYCLE 5E LEARNING MODEL USING AUDIO VISUAL MEDIA FOR IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES ON IPA LESSONS CLASS IV SD INPRES DOLAGO

Abstract

This study aims to improve the science learning outcomes by using the 5E learning cycle model using audio visual media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research using Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subjects of this study were 17th grade students of Dolago Inpres Elementary School with 17 students. This research was conducted in 3 cycles. The observations of the activities of the first cycle teacher 1 meeting were 59% and meeting 2 was 71% in. Observation of the activities of students in the first cycle meeting 1 is 57% and meeting 2 is 71%. Students who completed the study of 10 people with a classical completeness of 59%. The results of observing the activities of the second cycle of meeting 1 were 78% and meeting 2 was 79%. Observation of the activities of the second cycle students meeting 1 is 72% and meeting 2 is 75%. Students who completed the study of 15 people with 88% classical completeness. The observation results of teacher activity in the third cycle of meeting 1 was 82% and meeting 2 was 88%. Observation of the activities of students in cycle III meeting 1 is 81% and meeting 2 is 87%. Students who completed the study of 16 people with 94% classical completeness. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of the learning cycle learning model 5E using audio visual media can improve student learning outcomes in grade IV SD Inpres Dolago
