MAMUZIĆZAPISNIK SA UREDNIČKOG ODBORA ČASOPISA METALURGIJAMINUTES OF EDITORIAL BOARD OF THE JOURNAL METALURGIJAReceived – Primljeno: 2022-06-16Accepted – Prihvaćeno: 2022-08-10Review – PrikazSastanak održan telefonski, dana 15. lipnja 2022. god. u uredu Hrvatskog metalurškog društva (HMD), Zagreb, Berislavićeva 6, sa početkom u 12,00 sati.Pozvani na sudjelovanje svi članovi sukladno Listi čla-nova na mrežnim stranicama HMD – a, posebice tiskan na poleđini prve stranice ( korice ) svakog broja časopisa Me-talurgija.Sastanak je otvorio Glavni i odgovorni urednik časopi-sa Metalurgija Akad. Ilija Mamuzić, te pozdravio članove koji su bili na vezi. Istakao je, na temelju „ Pravilnika ča-sopisa Metalurgija “, članak 10., sastanci međunarodnog uredničkog odbora : citat „ mogu se održati najmanje je-danput u dvije godine “. Ovo je realizirano, glede je zadnji sastanak bio 22. lipnja 2020. god. u Zagrebu, Lavoslava Ružičke 46, a Zapisnik sa ovoga sastanka objavljen na mrežnim stranicama HMD – a, kao i u časopisu Metalurgi-ja 59 ( 2020 ) 4, 590-591.Pripreme za održavanje ovog sastanka započele su po-četkom 2022. godine, a poziv za sastanak objavljen na mrežnim stranicama HMD – a. Trebao se održati kao i  prije, tj. tijekom održavanja 15. Simpozija HMD – a „ Ma-terijali i metalurgija “ u Zagrebu, 22. ožujaka 2022. god. sa početkom u 18,00 sati.Glede problematike sa Covid – 19, nemogućnosti okup-ljanja i putovanja, na mrežnim stranicama HMD – a trajno je otkazano održavanje 15. Simpozija. Prijedlog da se ipak međunarodni Urednički odbor časopisa održi u suglasnosti točke 3., Zapisnika sa sjednice 22. lipnja 2020.god., / Meta-lurgija 59 (2020) 4,591, ali telefonski. To je sada realizirano.Predsjednik je predložio slijedeći:DNEVNI RED1.  Očevid o stanju i kakvoći časopisa Metalurgija2.  a)  Izbor Glavnog i odgovornog urednika časopisa Metalurgija 2022. – 2026.b)  Izbor Zamjenika Glavnog i odgovornog urednika časopisa Metalurgija 2022. – 2026.3. Termin novog sljedećeg sastankaAd.1.Članovi Uredničkog odbora koji su sudjelovali pohval-no su se izrazili o dosadašnjoj djelatnosti časopisa:-  uključenost u tercijalne i sekundarne publikacije i baze podataka, uz ESCI izdanje i preko 30 – ak baza podataka-  redovitost tiskanja ( svaki broj se tiska nekoliko mjese-ci pred termin važenja ) sa preko 100 članka godišnje-  opremljenost časopisa itd.-  javna dostupnost – uz normalni pisani oblik izdaje se i na CD - ROM – u, te cjelovito na pet WEB – stranicaMeeting was teleconference at the office of the Croa-tian Metallurgical Society ( CMS ), Zagreb, Berislavićeva 6, on 15 June 2022, beginning at 12 AM.All members from the list shown on the CMS website and printed on the inside of the front ( cover ) page of each issue of the journal Metalurgija were invited to attend.The meeting was opened by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Metalurgija, Member Acad. Ilija Mamuzić who greeted the attending members. He said that according to the „ Rule Book of the Journal Metalurgija “, Article 10 the meetings of the International Editorial Boad, quote : … may take place at least once in every two years“. This has been met as the last meeting took place at Zagreb, Lavo-slava Ružičke 46 on 22 June 2020; the Minutes of that meeting are published on the CMS website and in the jour-nal Metalurgija 59 ( 2020 ) 4,590-591.Preparations for this meeting began at the beginning of the year 2022, and the invitation to attend the meeting was published on the CMS website it was supposed to take place as scheduled earlier i.e. during the 15 th CMS Sym-posium on „ Materials and Metallurgy “ at Zagreb March , 22, 2022 beginning at 18:00 h.Due to the Covid – 19 issue, with the prohibitation of travelling and meeting, on the CMS website the 15 th Symposium was cancelled, and it was proposed that the International Editorial Board should still have a meeting accordance REF 3, Minutes, June 22, 2020, / Metalurgija 59 ( 2020 ) 4, 591, but via teleconference.This is now fulfilled.The President proposed the followingAGENDA1  Report about the status and quality of the journal Metalurgija2  a)  Electing the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Meta-lurgija for the period 2022-2026b)  Electing the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Metalurgija for the period 2022-20263 Scheduling the next meetingRef 1The attending members of the Editorial Board com-mended the activities of the Journal to date :-  Inclusion in tertiary and secondary publications and databases, with ESCI publication and more than 30 databases-  Regular appearance ( every issue is printed several month prior to its validity date ), with over 100 Arti-cles per year-  Visual appearance of the journal etc.-  Public availability – in addition to the regular paper form there is also a CD-ROM issue and a complete issue on five webpageshttp://ilija-mamuzic.from.hr174  METALURGIJA 62 (2023) 1, I. MAMUZIĆ: ZA IS I  SA U D I  D A AS ISA M A U I A-  IF ( IFaktor ) odjeka u SCOPUS – u za 2020. god. bio je razina Q3. Veliki problem je, da se naši članci iz časopisa Metalurgija citiraju u drugim časopisima, npr. „ Anali Zavoda za povijesne znanosti Hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti Dubrovnik “, a sada u „ Croatica Chemica Acta “, Zagreb. To je snizilo IF sa razine Q2 na Q3 ( od 64 mjesta na 46 ). Više puta je naš operator INTERNET / ONLINE Dr.Sc. Bojan Macan intervenirao.-  Podaci za kvalitetu časopisa Metalurgija do 2016. godine u SCI-EXP, IF ( impakt faktor ) 0,959; pro-sjek za 5 godina 0,848, Q2; poslije sniženi u ESCI ( nema IF ); bili između 8 najboljih hrvatskih časopisa. Napomena : Danas u SCI-EXP ima časopisa samo sa IF 0,1 ( naš sada 0,7, da smo ostali u SCIE ).Ad.2.Poslije suglasnosti više članova Uredničkog odbora jednoglasno je donesena odluka :a)  Za Glavnog i odgovornog urednika časopisa Meta-lurgija za mandatno razdoblje 2022. – 2026. god. izabran je Akad. Ilija Mamuzić. Tada je zamjenik Glavnog i odgovornog urednika Metalurgije bio Prof. Ivan Juraga. Budući mu je prestao mandat (zad nji broj Metalurgija 60 ( 2021 ) 4, te treba iza-brati novog Zamjenika na 4 godine. Da se mandat čelnika izjednači, te zajednički kreiraju djelatnost časopisa dan je ovaj prijedlog.b)  Za Zamjenika Glavnog i odgovornog urednika ča-sopisa Metalurgija za razdoblje 2022. – 2026. god. predlaže se Prof. Goran Šimunović dugogodišnji profesor Strojarskog fakulteta, Sveučilište u Sla-vonskom Brodu, a i dekan. Prof. Šimunović ima veliko iskustvo u vođenju časopisa, glede je uspješ-no urednik časopisa Tehnički vjesnik. Posebice važno, bio je i član Uredničkog odbora časopisa Metalurgija u intervalu 2014. – 2016. god., te izno-vice od 2021. ( No. 3/4 ).Poslije telefonske suglasnosti članova međunarodnog Uredničkog odbora donesena je :a)  ODLUKAZa Glavnog i odgovornog urednika časopisa Metalur-gija za razdoblje 2022. – 2026. god. izabran je Akad. Ilija Mamuzićib)  ODLUKAZa Zamjenika Glavnog i odgovornog urednika časopi-sa Metalurgija za razdoblje 2022. – 2026. god. izabran je Prof. Goran ŠimunovićAd.3.-  Termin održavanja slijedećeg sastanka međunarod-nog Uredničkog odbora časopisa Metalurgija pred-mnijeva se u suglasnosti „ Pravilnika časopisa Meta-lurgija “, a najkasnije do lipnja 2024. god.-  Tisak idućeg broja Metalurgija će biti u rujnu 2022. god.; Metalurgija 62 ( 2023 ) 1,1-Sastanak završio u 14,30.-  IF ( Impact factor ) u SCOPUS 2020 was on the lev-el Q3. The big problem is, our Articles from Metalur-gija Journal have citations in 2 nd Journals, f.i. „Ana-li Zavoda za povijesne znanosti, Hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti“, Dubrovnik, and now in „Cro-atica Chemica Acta“. This is increase IF Q2 on Q3 ( from 64 places to 46 ). Many times is our operatea from INTERNET / ONLINE D.Sc. Bojan Macan have interventions.-  Dana for quality of the Metallurgy Journal till 2016 y in SCI-EXP, IF ( impact factor ) 0,959; the average for 5 years 0,848: Q2: after, was demoted in ESCI ( have not IF ). We ware between 8 the best Croatian`s Jour-nals Note : Today in SCI-EXP have Journals with only IF , our now - 0,7 if we have survive in SCIE.Ref 2Members of the International Editorial Board agreed on the following decision :a)  The elected Editor-in-Chief of the journal Metalur-gija fot the period 2022-2026 is Acad. Ilija Mamuzić. The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Metalur-gija was Prof. Ivan Juraga. His term expired the last issue of Metalurgija 60 ( 2021 ) 4, and a new Depu-ty is to be elected for a period of 4 years. In order to equalize the duration of the respective terms of the Editor and the Deputy Editor, and to enable them to jointly develop the activities of the journal, it is pro-posed as stated herein.b)  It is proposed that the Deputy Editor-inChief of the journal Metalurgija in the period 2022-2026 be Prof. Goran Šimunović a long-time Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering University of Slavonski Brod and its Dean. Prof. Šimunović has extensive experience in running a Journal, as he has successfully run the journal Tehnički vjesnik for many years as its Editor. What is particularly im-portant is that he was also a member of the Edito-rial Board of the Journal Metalurgija in the period 2014-2016; and again since 2021 (No 3/4).Members of the International Editorial Board agreed in teleconference on the following :a)  DECISIONThe elected Editor-in-Chief of the Journal Metalurgija for the period 2022-2026 is Acad. Ilija Mamuzić;andb)  DECISIONThe elected Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal Met-alurgija for the period 2022-2026 is Prof. Goran ŠimunovićRef 3-  The next meeting of the International Editorial Board of the Journal Metalurgija shall be scheduled in ac-cordance with the „ Rule Book of the Journal Meta-lurgija “, at the latest until June 2024.-  The publish of next the number of Metalurgija, will be, september 2022 y; Metalurgija 62 (2023) 1,1-The meeting ended at 14,30 PM.
