Trenutno sadrži oko 7000 herbarskih listova, više od 1000 preparata češera, plodova i sjemenki te preko 500 izbojaka listopadnih vrsta u zimskom razdoblju, a svake godine se dopunjava novo prikupljenim botaničkim materijalom. Herbarij Fakulteta šumarstva i drvne tehnologije Sveučilišta u Zagrebu je od 2016. godine registriran u Svjetskom indeksu herbarija (Indeks Herbariorum), s međunarodnom skraćenicom DEND. Digitalizirani herbarijski primjerci (digita-lizacija u tijeku) kao i podaci vezani za primjerke mogu se pretraživati putem baze podataka Virtual Herbarium DEND (http://dendherbarij.sumfak.unizg.hr/herbariumdendpar.php). Zahtjevi za po-sjet, razmjenu ili posudbu herbarijskih primjeraka trebaju se uputiti na ipoljak@sumfak.hr.Herbarium DEND Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, University of ZagrebThe dendrological collection of the Department of Forest Genetics, Dendrology and Botany of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, University of Zagreb, was established in 1960. It currently contains about 7000 herbarium speci-mens, more than 1000 samples of cones, fruits and seeds, and over 500 shoots of deciduous species in the winter season, with newly collected botanical material added to the collection every year. Since 2016, the herbarium of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of the University of Zagreb has been registered in the Index Herbariorum, under the international acronym DEND. Digitized herbarium specimens (digitization in progress) as well as specimen-related data can be searched via a database Virtual Herbarium DEND (http://dend-herbarij.sumfak.unizg.hr/herbariumdendpar.php).
