Comparative Analysis of Competing Suppliers of Electricity to Households

Abstract

In the theoretical part of this diploma thesis I will explain basic keywords for understanding the entire work. I would like to explain here the related theory of the electricity market in the Czech Republic and strategic analysis of the external environment. Also here will be indicated and introduced basic energy terms, composition of the electricity prices, history of the electricity market opening, activity of the Energy Regulatory Office and details of the price calculator. Further I will focus on description of the specific external analysis tools. In the practical part of this work I will characterize the whole industry, perform strategic analysis and compare specific suppliers of electricity to households
