Passenger transport on ferry lines Italy - Sicily

Abstract

U radu će se obraditi tema putnički prijevoz trajektima Italija-Sicilija. Zadatak rada je prikazati prijevoz putnika trajektom na relaciji Italija-Sicilija. Kako bi putnička luka mogla djelovati, potrebna joj je odgovarajuća prometna povezanost s jedne strane s kopnenim zaleđem, a s druge (morske) s ostalim lukama. Putnički tijekovi bitan su element u razvoju pomorskoputničkih luka i uvelike se oslanjaju na razvijenu infrastrukturu i suprastrukturu prometnog sustava. Najvažnije pomorske luke na Siciliji su Messina, Palermo, Catania, Augusta, Trapani i Gela. Luke u Messini, Cataniji i Ripostu su bile do prve polovice 19. stoljeća, jedne od glavnih trgovačkih luka na Mediteranu. Postoji sedam brodara koji nude 43 pravaca.The paper deals with passenger transport by ferries Italy-Sicily. The task of this paper is to show the carriage of passengers by ferry to Italy-Sicily. In order for a passenger port to operate, it is necessary to have a proper traffic connection on one side with the land hinterland and the other (sea) with other ports. Passenger flows are an essential element in the development of shipping ports and rely heavily on the developed infrastructure and the superstructure of the transport system. The most important maritime ports in Sicily are Messina, Palermo, Catania, Augusta, Trapani and Gela. Luke in Messina, Catania and Riposto were until the first half of the 19th century, one of the main commercial ports in the Mediterranean. There are seven shipping companies offering 43 routes
