Transformation de la mémoire écrite. Du nécrologe de Cluny au nécrologe-obituaire de Carrión

Abstract

Producción CientíficaThe Necrology of San Zoilo de Carrión is preserved in a copy of the second quarter of the 13th century, with additions to the 17th century. We analyse the evolution of this manuscript, which was initially a necrology of Cluny. Between 1077 and the middle of the 13th century, it suffered mainly quantitative changes, with the registration of new names, that were largely those of death-rolls sent by Cluny. In the second half of the 13th century, it ceased to be used as necrology and converted to obituary. Hence notes on the type of commemoration reserved for San Zoilo’s monks and familiars listed previously were added, the rest being left out. In addition, only these monks and benefactors were registered, but with greater accuracy in identifying individuals. In the 15th century, only those providing an endowment for their anniversary were registered. By the end of the 15th century, another novelty appears: adding necrologic-historical or simply historical notices. The final break with Cluny led to the abandonment of the Necrology.Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, Agencia Estatal de Investigación, Unión Europea-Fede
