Diseño de un ambiente educativo “Una biblioteca para las personas privadas de la libertad de la UPPV”

Abstract

Es inevitable que los seres humanos busquen formas de estructurar su conocimiento y su comportamiento en la medida que se van constituyendo las civilizaciones. En lo histórico, parte de estas estructuras resultan en los conceptos de justicia, sabiduría, libertad, comunidad. La educación es uno de los aspectos fundamentales del desarrollo de una sociedad; en la manera enlas que los individuos se encuentren formados y puedan aprovechar sus habilidades cognitivas podrán ser seres funcionales que aportan a su comunidad. Así entonces, las sociedades han establecido normas para regular el comportamiento y el ciclovital de sus individuos según etapas de sus vidas para interiorizar y reforzar las normas y sus castigos. Las personas que son castigadas por el incumplimiento de normas y leyes sociales pierden algunos de sus derechos como la libertad y el acceso a la educación. El propósito del diseño de una biblioteca es plantear la posibilidad de brindar espacios educativos dentro de los establecimientos carcelarios y poder vincular a estas personas dentro de la sociedad con unsentido humanista.Human beings find ways to live in a more structured manner. Keeping knowledge safe and their behavior organized helped them built ancient civilizations. Historically speaking, most of the social structures built may become principles and concepts they abide to, like justice, freedom, wisdom, and community. Education is a key part of social progress, when individuals are well educated and know how to use their cognitive abilities then they can become supporting functional beings in their community. There for, societies have stablished rules to ensure people will behave accordingly to their age and biological evolution enforcing and reinforcing laws and reprimand. People who receive punishment are often removed from their basic rights like freedom and access to health and education. In this project, the possibility of providing educationwithin the incarceration to allow prisoners to rejoin their civil life is the proposed ideal. Thus, societies have established rules to regulate the behavior and life cycle of their individuals according to stages of their lives to internalize and reinforce the norms and their punishments. People who are punished for non-compliance with social norms and laws lose some of their rights such as freedom and access to education.
