Abstract
Рассматривается вопрос формирования готовности к межкультурной коммуникации в свете развития движения WorldSkills International в процессе преподавания английского языка. Обосновывается необходимость создания практико-ориентированных заданий, разработки дидактических материалов с учетом специфики профессиональной сферы деятельности. Анализируются подходы к созданию условий для эффективной подготовки участников чемпионатов WorldSkills в рамках изучения иностранного языка будущими специалистами для активного и полноценного сотрудничества в современном многокультурном мире.This article deals with the problem of the formation of readiness to intercultural communication in the light of the development of WorldSkills International in the process of teaching English. The authors substantiate the necessity of creating practice-oriented tasks, the development of didactic materials taking into account the specifics of the professional sphere of activity. The authors analyze the approaches to the creation of conditions for effective training of WorldSkills champions in the framework of foreign language studies by future specialists for active and meaningful cooperation in the modern multicultural world
