Determination of pullout strength the surgical suture from pancreases using MTS Insight testing machine

Abstract

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań doświadczalnych przeprowadzonych na trzustkach świńskich przy użyciu maszyny wytrzymałościowej MTS Insight. W ramach badań wyznaczono wartość siły potrzebnej do wyrwania nici chirurgicznej wkłutej do miąższu trzustki. W pracy przedstawiono również analizę statystyczną mającą na celu ocenę wpływu mrożenia trzustek na wartość wyznaczonej siły.The article presents of experimental studies carried out on pig pancreases using a testing machine MTS Insigh. The study determined the value of the breaking force applied axially to the surgical thread inserted to a pancreatic parenchyma and a comparative analysis of the impact of freezing on the value of the designated forces. The test results will allow better estimation of the risk of postoperative complications, and thus apply in advance the possible ways to prevent them
