In the work we will engage the participants to tell stories aboutplaces through natural material and handcraft-based methods. The story-telling has the potential of reactivating the memory of the places as the par-ticipants make connections between natural elements that are presented in thestories and have significant meaning to them. Stories from places is a work-shop that requires participation on many levels, both through the creation pro-cess and throughout the conference because it offers continues interaction withthe work that will be created. The workshop setting/ dialogue should have thepotential for the participants of to revisit everyday aesthetics based on mem-ories. Reactivating memories encourages creative thinking, engaging the par-ticipants in the thinking routine: see/think/wonder. The dialogical setting aimsto encourage participants to revisit their attitudes towards the actions that de-termine the quality of life and the state of the world for better or worse.
