Different ways of knowing require different types of ar-gumentation, which often cause interdisciplinary misunderstanding becausecommon concepts and methods are missing or not shared. For example, sen-sory and embodied information are discussed quite differently in scientific andartistic research.We five researchers with different backgrounds invite the conference audienceto discuss and specify scientific and artistic approaches to the body, movement,and sensory awareness. We come from art education, artistic research andneuroscience. Together we have probed our own knowing, experiences andunderstanding on episteme of knowledge, and challenged our parallel epis-temological realities.
