Abstract
Allama Shibli Nomani was a famous historian of the subcontinent. His letters to different personalities like Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Nawab Mehdi Ali and Molana Habiburrehman Sherwani, etc are masterpieces in themselves. His letters are written in a comprehensive, lucid, and scholarly language. He discussed social, political, educational, and scholarly matters in his letters. Some of his letters are romantic. His language is literary, simple, and full of sincerity
