El presente artículo contiene los avances de la investigación “Participación de los adultos mayores de Gramalote en el proceso de reasentamiento al nuevo casco urbano”; desarrollada en 2019 y 2020; teniendo por finalidad reconocer la participación de los adultos mayores gramaloteros en el proceso de reasentamiento, tiene un enfoque cualitativo basado en entrevistas y acompañamientos, interpretando la importancia de la educación social en la reconfiguración de la identidad y sentido de pertenencia de los habitantes con el municipio.This article contains the progress of the research “Participation of the elderly from Gramalote in the resettlement process to the new urban area”; developed in 2019 and 2020; Aiming at recognizing the participation of the elderly Gramaloteros in the resettlement process, it has a qualitative approach based on interviews and accompaniments, interpreting the importance of social education in the reconfiguration of the identity and sense of belonging of the inhabitants with the municipality
