By analysis the contents of the Côté Ouest magazine, this article will seek to identify the implicit notion of "West" contained within it. This will be carried out by studying the delimitation of this space, the places and the objects ascribed value, as well as the images that emerge from it. Particular attention will be given to the obvious social dimension of these images that conjure up a very selective idea of culture.Cet article se propose, à travers l'analyse de la revue Côté Ouest de dégager la notion d'ouest implicitement contenue. Ceci en étudiant la délimitation de cet espace, les lieux et objets valorisés et les images qui s'en dégagent.
