The Hazelwood Health Study (HHS) was established to examine the potential impacts of the2014 Hazelwood mine fire and associated smoke event. The Community Wellbeing researchstream is exploring the impact of the 2014 Hazelwood mine fire on the wellbeing of thecommunities of Morwell and the Latrobe Valley. The key aims of the Community WellbeingStream are to investigate community perceptions of:1. the impact of the smoke event on community wellbeing,2. the elements that are important for effective communication during and after thesmoke event, and3. the effectiveness of community rebuilding activities.This is the second volume of the Community Wellbeing Report 2015–2017, and focuses onthe third of these three aims: determining the community perceptions of the effectivenessof community rebuilding activities. The first and second aims were addressed in Volume 1:Community perceptions of the impact of the smoke event on community wellbeing and of the effectiveness of communication during and after the smoke event.<br/
