PROCESSO GERAL RLAT usa o processo de double-blind peer review que é a omissão das identidades de autores no manustcrito e dos revisores no parecer, durante o processo de avaliação. Deste modo, os autores devem seguir alguns passos para garantir este processo: Submeter APENAS UM ARQUIVO de texto (editor Microsoft Word 2003 ou versão mais recente, ou em doc rtf), sem identificação, direta ou indireta, de autoria. TODAS AS INFORMAÇÕES PESSOAIS sobre o(s) autor(es) – nomes, afiliações instituicionais, país, endereço completo, número de telefone, e-mail e um conjunto de dados biográficos do(s) autor(es) – não superior a 60 palavras, será inserido no sistema website. Se houver qualquer necessidade, o(s) autor(es) pode(m) apresentar um documento complementar, com informação específica sobre o artigo (por exemplo, tabelas excel ou dados SPSS). Para checar sobre como inserir o manuscrito e um documento suplementar, por favor, consulte o conteúdo de este link: https://goo.gl/Jl3hVO Para garantir que não haja qualquer possível identificação de autoria no manuscrito, deve-se:   Usar terceira pessoa para referir a trabalhos publicados anteriormente pelos autores do texto. Exemplo: Substituir “como analisamos no estudo” por “como foi analisado no estudo… (Anônimo, 2009).  Remover qualquer afiliação autoral das figuras.  Citar artigos publicados pelo autor do texto como segue: (Anônimo, 2009).  Para a revisão às cegas inserir na lista de referência: “(Anônimo, 2009). Detalhes omitidos para revisão às cegas."  Remover agradecimentos.  Remover informações de autoria nas propriedades do documento. 2 MANUSCRITO   Tipografia: O manuscrito deve ser preparado com espacejamento entre linhas simples, fonte Arial Narrow, tamanho 11, margens de 3 cm à esquerda e superior e 2 cm à direita e inferior, em papel A4. As citações diretas deverão utilizar a fonte 10 e as notas devem apresentar o mesmo tipo de letra, no tamanho 9. Não utilizar fontes nem tamanhos distintos no texto. Caso pretenda destacar alguma palavra ou parágrafo utilize a mesma fonte em cursiva (itálico). Título: deve ser escrito em 3 idiomas, sendo o Português e o Inglês, obrigatórios.  Resumo: O artigo deve vir acompanhado de um resumo no idioma em que está escrito (150 – 250 palavras) e sua tradução em inglês (resumo e título). Para os artigos escritos em inglês deve se acrescentar um resumo em espanhol. O resumo deve seguir a mesma estrutura do manuscrito (objetivo, marco teórico, metodologia, resultados, discussão e conclusão).  Palavras chave: o texto deve conter entre 3 e 5 palavras chave sobre o tema principal, separadas por um ponto final. GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS 1 GENNERAL PROCESS  RLAT uses the double-blind peer review which is the omission of the identities of authors in the manuscripts and reviewers decision, on process of reviewing. Thus, authors must follow some steps to ensure this process: Submit ONLY ONE ARCHIVE of the text (microsoft word editor 2003 or newer version, or in rtf doc), without direct or indirect identification, of authorship. ALL THE PERSONAL INFORMATION about the author(s) – names, affiliated institution’s, country, complete mailing address, phone number, email and a biographical data of the author(s) – not exceeding 60 words, will be inserted in the website system. If there is any necessity, the author(s) can submit an additional document, with specific information about the paper (e.g. excel tables or SPSS data). To check about how to insert the manuscript and the supplementary document, please see the contents of this link: https://goo.gl/Jl3hVO  To ensure not having any possible identification of authorship in the manuscript, it must:   Use third person to refer to previously published works by the authors of the text. Example: replace "as we analyzed in the study" by "as was analyzed in the study… (Anonymous, 2009).  Remove any copyright of the images.  Quoting published articles by the author of the text as follows: (Anonymous, 2009).  For blinding review enter in the reference list "(Anonymous, 2009). Details omitted to double-blind reviewing."  Remove thanks.  Remove copyright information in the document properties. 2 MANUSCRIPT  Typography: The manuscript should be prepared with simple line spacing, font Arial Narrow, size 11, 3 cm margins on the left and top and 2 cm on the right and bottom, in A4 paper. Direct citations should use the 10 font and notes must have the same kind of font, size 9. Do not use fonts or different sizes in the text. If you want to highlight any word or paragraph, use the same font in cursive (italic).  Title: should be writen in the original language, being the Portuguese and English alwlays required. Abstract: The article should be accompanied by an abstract in the original vernacular language (150-250 words), and always translated to the English and Portuguese whatever would be the original language. For articles written in English an abstract in Spanish must be added. The abstract must follow the manuscript structure (aim, theoretical framework, methodology, results, discussion and conclusion). keywords: the text must contain between three and five keywords on the main theme of the paper and separated themselves by a dot. Turismologia / RELAT, Juiz de Fora, v. 4, n. 2, pp.83 –86, Jul./Dez. 2018 84 Texto: o texto deve possuir uma extensão entre 5.000 e 9.000 palavras para artigos e de 3.000 a 5.000 tanto para opiniões, pensatas e ensaios como para notas de investigação; e de 2.000 a 3.000 para resenhas de livros e obras acadêmicas. A divisão interna deve conter necessariamente (introdução, referencial teórico, metodologia, resultados e discussão, conclusões), agradecimentos (se aplicável) e referencias.  Idiomas: os artigos podem ser escritos em Portugues, Inglês, Espanhol ou Frânces. Títulos, Resumos e Palavras em portugues e ingles são obrigatórios, independente do idioma original do artigo. Estes elementos também são requeridos em um terceiro idioma. Ilustrações: as ilustrações (quadros, gráficos, esquemas, fluxogramas, organogramas, fotografias e outros) e tabelas deverão ser inseridas no texto. Todos devem possuir título, fonte, e notas (se for o caso). As tabelas devem seguir as Normas de Apresentação Tabular do IBGE. Pode-se utilizar imagens coloridas, embora se deva avaliar a possibilidade de utilizá-la em branco e preto, para que fique legível no caso de impressão. Abreviações e acrônimos: Deverão ser definidos claramente no seu primeiro uso no texto. Citações e Referência: as referências, assim como as citações, no corpo do texto, devem seguir as normas da American Psychological Association (APA).  Notas: as notas explicativas devem utilizadas somente se forem indispensáveis, e deverão vir sempre ao final do texto, como nota de fim, utilizando o mesmo tipo de letra (Arial Narrow) no tamanho 9. As submissões que não estiverem de acordo com as normas serão devolvidas aos autores. Alinhada às melhores práticas de publicação, nacionais e internacionais, RLAT exige o cumprimento dos seguintes critérios para publicação regular de artigos:   1. O manuscrito submetido deve ser uma contribuição original e inédita amparada por alguma linha temática inserida no escopo da revista. Caso contrário, deve-se justificar em "Comentários ao Editor". 2. O artigo não pode ter sido publicado previamente em nenhum periódico ou livro. Aceitam-se, no entanto, artigos apresentados em anais de congressos.  3. O texto não pode estar em avaliação, simultaneamente, em outro periódico, seja nacional ou internacional.  Text: the text must have an extension between 5,000 and 9,000 words to articles; and 3,000 to 5,000 for reflexive opinions (pensatas) and essays; and between 2,000 to 3,000 for research notes and book reviews as well. The internal divisions must contain (introduction, theoretical framework, methodology, results and discussion, conclusion), acknowledgements (if applicable) and references. Languages: the manuscript can be writen in Portuguese, English, Spanish or French. Titles, Abstratcs and Keywords must be writen in Portuguese and in English, independent of the original language of the paper. These elements also are required in a third language. Illustrations: illustrations (tables, graphs, diagrams, flowcharts, organization charts, photographs and others) and tables should be inserted in the text. All of them must have title source, and notes (being the case). Tables should follow the Tabular Presentation rules of the IBGE. It can use color images, but it must be evaluated the possibility of using it in black and white, so that it is readable in the case of printing. Abbreviations and acronyms: Should be defined clearly in its first use in the text. Citations and reference: the references, as well as the citations in the body of the text should follow the standards of the American Psychological Association (APA).  Notes: the explanatory notes should be use only if they are essential, and should be at the end of the text, using the same font (Arial Narrow) in size 9. CONDITIONS FOR SUBMISSION As part of the submission process, authors are required to check the conformity of the manuscript to all items listed below. Submissions that are not in accordance with the standards will be returned to the authors. Aligned with best practices, nationally and internationally, RLAT requires compliance with the following criteria for regular publication of articles:  1. The manuscript submitted should be original and unprecedented contribution bolstered by some thematic line inserted in the scope of the journal. Otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the Editor." 2. The article may not have been previously published in any journal or book. It is accepted, however, papers presented at congresses.  3. Os artigos poderão ter, no máximo, 3 (três) coautores, além do autor principal, totalizando no máximo 4 (quatro) participantes por manuscrito. 5. RLAT se reserva ao direito de postergar a uma edição ou volume (ano) subsequente a um artigo aprovado, caso os autores ou coautores de uma mesma instituição já tenham publicado algum artigo no ano corrente, de forma a não ultrapassar 20% de concentração de origem de instituições, assegurando o cumprimento de critérios nacionais (e recomendaçõs internacionais) de avaliação de periódicos. 6. Do mesmo modo, a fim de evitar concentração, RLAT publicará apenas 1 (um ) texto de um mesmo autor por ano. Caso o autor tenha outro manuscrito aprovado, o mesmo será postergado para o ano seguinte. 7. RLAT poderá publicar excepcionalmente artigos nos quais o editor chefe e/ou editores associados figurem como autores ou coautores. 8. RLAT poderá publicar manuscritos de autores ou coautores do Conselho Editorial, de membros do Conselho Científico e da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora se, e somente se, estes não estejam envolvidos no processo de avaliação do artigo. 9. A fim de evitar endogenia, artigos da UFJF serão publicados, em no máximo 20% (4,8 artigos ao ano). 10. Mesmo que cumpram os demais requisitos, só serão aceitos em desk review para prosseguir no processo editorial os manuscritos que estejam livres de identificação dos autores. A identificação de autoria do trabalho deve ser removida do arquivo através da opção “Propriedades no Word”, garantindo desta forma o critério de sigilo da revista, caso submetido para avaliação por pares (ex.: artigos), conforme instruções disponíveis em Assegurando a Avaliação Cega por Pares. ATENÇÃO! Esta condição é essencial para que o texto inicie o processo editorial de avaliação. Caso não cumpra este requisito, o manuscrito será retornado ao autor. 11. As informações relativas a autoria deverão ser preenchidas diretamente no sistema, na aba metadados.  12. Os arquivos para submissão devem estar em Microsoft Word, OpenOffice ou RTF (e não ultrapassar 2MB). Os artigos que ultrapassarem este tamanho poderão ser enviados diretamente pelo e-mail da revista: <RLAT.ufjf@gmail.com>. 13. O texto deve estar em espaço simples; usar uma fonte de 11; empregar itálico em vez de sublinhado (exceto em endereços URL); as figuras e tabelas estrem inseridas no texto, não no final do documento, como anexos. 14. O texto deve utilizar as normas de citações e referências, conforme disposto pela American Psychological Association (APA). Mais informações podem ser obtidas na seção Sobre a Revista, Diretrizes para Autores. ATENÇÃO! Esta condição é essencial para que o texto inicie o processo editorial de avaliação. Caso não cumpra este requisito, o manuscrito será imediatamente retornado ao autor. 4. Articles can have a maximum of 3 (three) co-authors, besides the main author, totalizing a maximum of 4 (four) people per manuscript. 5. RLAT reserves itself the right to postpone the edition or volume (year) subsequent an article is approved, if the authors or co-authors of the same have already published some article in the current year, so as not to exceed 20% of the source concentration of institutions, thereby ensuring the fulfillment of national criteria (and international recommendations) periodic evaluation. 6. Likewise, in order to avoid concentration, RLAT publish only 1 (one) text from the same author per year. If the author has another manuscript approved, it will be postponed to the following year. 7. RLAT may publish exceptionally articles in which the editor and/or associated editors list as authors or co-authors. 8. RLAT may publish manuscripts of authors or co-authors of the Editorial Board, members of the Scientific Board and form the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora if, and only if, they are not involved in the process of evaluating the article. 9. In order to avoid endogenic concentration UFJF articles will be published, in a maximum of 20% (4.8 items per year). 10. Even if you meet the other requirements, will only be accepted on desk review to proceed in the editorial process the manuscripts that are free from identification of the authors. The identification of authorship of the work must be removed from the archive in the option "properties in Word", guaranteeing in this way the confidentiality criteria, if submitted for peer review (e.g. articles), as available in Ensuring the Blind Peer Review instructions. ATTENTION! This condition is essential for the text to start the editorial process of evaluation. If you do not fulfill this requirement, the manuscript will be returned to the author. 11. Information of the authorship must be filled directly in the system, in the metadata tab. 12. The files for submission must be in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF (and do not exceed 2 MB). Papers which exceed this size can be sent directly via email to the journal: <RLAT.ufjf@gmail.com>. 13. The text must be single-spaced; to use an 11 font; to use italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); the figures and tables should be included in the text, not at the end of the document, as attachments. 14. The text should use the system of citations and references, as stated by the American Psychological Association (APA). Full details of the style patterns and bibliographic requirements are described in the section About the Journal, Guidelines to Authors. ATTENTION! This condition is essential to start the text editorial process of evaluation. If you do not fulfill this requirement, the manuscript will be returned to the author.
