本研究の目的は、カリキュラム改正以後の過去9年間の学生の卒業研究から、「がん」をテーマとして取り上げる学生の研究動向を明らかにすることである。1999年から2007年にA短期大学看護学科学生が卒業研究として取り組んだ561件のうち、「がん」に関する研究論文31件を分析対象とした。研究テーマを類似性で分類し、研究テーマと研究方法を経年変化で整理し動向を分析した。研究テーマは、内容の検討を行うことにより13のグループに分類ができた。それらの概要および内容を研究者間で吟味することによって、研究の動機は、「自己の経験からの研究」の視点と「興味や関心からの研究」の視点の2つに大別された。The purpose of this study was to clarify trends in students\u27 research on "cancer" from their nursing studies over the past 9 years following the amendment to the curriculum. The target for analysis was 31 papers on "cancer" out of 561 graduation theses written by students in the nursing department of a junior college during the period of 1999 to 2007. For trend analysis, study themes were classified by similarity, and both study themes and methods were arranged in accordance with their annual changes. Based on a review of the contents, study themes were classified into 13 categories. Through discussions among researchers on the abstracts and contents, the target studies were largely divided into two types from the viewpoint of motivations to study: "studies based on the writer\u27s experience" and "studies driven by the writer\u27s interest.
