Abstract
This paper aims to analyze the relevance of the performance of Northeastern Roots Folkloric Traditions Group and its strategies used during the Covid-19 pandemic, how they managed to resist and reinvent themselves in this critical moment in which Brazil and the world live. This research is bibliographical in nature and has a qualitative approach, in order to answer what strategy Northeastern Roots Folkloric Traditions Group carried out to remain active during the Covid-19 pandemic. We believe that it is necessary to value and strengthen folklore groups so that the culture of a people is not forgotten or extinct. Folklore manifests itself in various ways in the community, which can be through games, dances, habits, customs, legends, popular gastronomy, myths, among others.O objetivo desse trabalho é analisar a relevância da atuação do Grupo Tradições Folclóricas Raízes Nordestinas e suas estratégias utilizadas durante pandemia da Covid-19, como conseguiram resistir e se reinventar nesse momento crítico em que o Brasil e mundo vivem. Essa pesquisa é de cunho bibliográfico e tem abordagem qualitativa, a fim de responder sobre qual a estratégia o Grupo Tradições Folclóricas Raízes Nordestinas realizou para se manter ativo durante a pandemia da Covid-19. Consideramos que é necessário a valorização e fortalecimento dos grupos de folclore para que a cultura de um povo não seja esquecida ou extinta. O folclore se manifesta de várias formas na comunidade podendo ser através dos folguedos, danças, hábitos, costumes, lendas, gastronomia popular, mitos, entre outros
