PEMANFAATAN MEDIA SOSIAL UNTUK PEMASARAN PRODUK BATIK KELOMPOK UPPKS “DEWI KUNTI” DI DUSUN MURANGAN VIII DESA TRIHARJO SLEMAN

Abstract

Community assistance at UPPKD Batik “Dewi Kunthi” has been carried out. This group, which was originally a layman about batik production, has changed to be diligent in producing and innovating. Marketing of its products was initially still weak because it depended on orders from the Sleman Regency Disperindag. After receiving various social media training programs, branding training, and mentoring from the service team, now marketing their batik products can be done easily and cheaply through social media. In the Special Region of Yogyakarta and especially in Sleman Regency, there are many batik producers, ranging from large entrepreneurs to small entrepreneurs. Therefore, it is necessary to have a clear differentiation so that consumers can easily recognize it. Here the service team has held branding and branding training so that the batik produced by the Dewi Khunthi group can be remembered and become an option for consumers. The results obtained from this activity, they are more confident in marketing their products through social media. Activities like this need to be continued because they need assistance. What has been obtained at this stage, needs to be deepened in future activities
