Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present an overview of the rigor of research with qualitative approaches, conceived as constructs generated in the context of the positivist vision and recognized by this world as the validity and reliability of the investigative process. Authors such as Miles and Huberman (1984), Lincoln and Guba (1985), Riessman (1993), Denzi and Lincold (2008), among others, use more subjective terms that agree with the onto-epistemological and methodological perspectives that support this research. Therefore, it is recommended to develop alternative constructs that meet the expectations related to credibility, authenticity, consistency, transferability, auditability, triangulation, among others.El propósito de este artículo es presentar una visión general de la rigurosidad de investigaciones con enfoques cualitativos, concebidas como constructos generados en el contexto de la visión positivista y reconocidos por este mundo como la validez y confiabilidad del proceso investigativo. Autores como Miles y Huberman (1984), Lincoln y Guba (1985), Riessman (1993), Denzi y Lincold (2008), entre otros, emplean términos más subjetivos que concuerda con las perspectivas onto-epistemológicas y metodológicas que sustentan dicha investigación. Por consiguiente, se recomienda desarrollar los constructos alternativos que satisfagan las expectativas relacionadas con credibilidad, autenticidad, consistencia, transferibilidad, auditabilidad, triangulación, entre otros
