Conventions, Centers, and Meetings: Analysis of the Past Decade

Abstract

The convention, exposition, and meetings industry (CEMI) is not static; it changes over time. This article investigates CEMI and the centers that host it have· changed over the past ten years. Aspects of the industry such as size, impact, and objectives are analyzed utilizing primary and secondary, data along with interviews with industry experts. One of the most significant findings is that, in spite of pundit\u27s warnings, the industry has not reached saturation, and there is no sign that it will in the near future
