Research progress on the synthesis and biological activities of silver nanoparticles

Abstract

This article reviewed the controllable synthesis of silver nanoparticles with different morphologies and sizes.The antibacterial activities against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus,etc were summarized. The inhibition towards human immunodeficiency virus(HIV),hepatitis B virus and breast adenocarcinoma cancer cell were presented.
