Weinstein Executive Director of Public Relations 937-766-8800 (o) 937-532-6885 (m) Mweinstein@cedarville.edu @cedarvillenews   Dayton Workforce Partnerships Honors STEM Achievers   CEDARVILLE, OHIO -- Four Cedarville University students have been awarded scholarships by Dayton Workforce Partnerships (DWP) for their high academic performance in pursuing valued science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) degrees.     Among the 12 overall students honored for their academic excellence include senior nursing major Taylor Carnegie from Bloomington, Indiana; sophomore civil engineering major Josiah Entner from Xenia, Ohio; junior civil engineering major Taylor Beigle from Petoskey, Michigan; and senior civil engineering major Lucas Kimball from Portland, Michigan.     “Receiving this scholarship is a huge blessing, and I’m very grateful for having been chosen,” said Beigle. “This award will help me further my education in civil/structural engineering and hopefully work on commercial architecture in the future.”    DWP’s mission is to connect college students in STEM, healthcare, business and manufacturing fields to greater Dayton employers. This brings everyone together, aiding companies in need of high-level talent and helping students find jobs. DWP is committed to connecting its scholarship winners with internship and employment opportunities.    “The DWP board is proud of our partnership with Cedarville University, said Ron Adler, vice president at Dayton Workforce Partnerships. "Our Dayton business partners have told us their Cedarville interns and employees have always been top quality.
