Abstract

In this work a survey is presented on the main aspects pointed by the Economic Commission for Latin America and Caribbean (ECLAC) to promote the Latin-American integration. For such, it was made an analysis of the historical evolution of these ideas in the period that is going from the creation of the institution in 1948 to the end of the decade of 1990.Neste trabalho apresenta-se um levantamento sobre os principais aspectos apontados pela Comissão Econômica para a América Latina e o Caribe (CEPAL) para promover a integração latino-americana. Para tal, realizou-se uma análise da evolução histórica destas idéias no período que vai desde a criação da instituição em 1948 até o final da década de 1990
