Práce si klade za cíl zmapovat a popsat svatojánské památky na území Starého Města pražského a Hradčan v profánním prostoru a ověřit, zda je jejich rozmístění zcela náhodné, nebo má hlubší souvislost s ohnisky svatojánského kultu v obou pražských městech. Možná souvislost rozmístění pražských svatojánských památek s ohnisky svatojánského kutu bude porovnávána se stopami kultu sv. Jana Sarkandra a sv. Pavlíny v Olomouci.The work shows relations of St. John Midsummer Celebrations in the material culture of the Prague castle, Hradčany and Old Town in Prague . In particular it discusses secular decorations of the streets, trying to answer the question whether the numerous depictions of St. John of Nepomuk in the area may be related to the former usual route of St. John Midsummer Celebrations. The work compare the current situation in Prague with the similar traces of the cult of St. Johan Sarkander and St. Paulina in Olomouc
