This paper and the accompanying Excel workbook present the Distributional Comprehensive Household Income Accounts (DCHIAs), an open-access data series of Haig-Simons income for U.S. households, 2000–2019. The series is derived from publicly available national-accounts data, and is balance-sheet-complete; it fully explains changes in household (and hence national) assets and net worth from year to year and across the two-decade period.
