Tässä insinöörityössä tavoitteena oli määrittää ympäristöhuoltoyritykselle vaihtoehdot, jotka mahdollistavat paperikonekudoksen käsittelyn laitoksella. Investointilaskelmien kautta pyrittiin selvittämään, onko yrityksen kannattavaa investoida murskaimeen, jolla paperikonekudosta voidaan pienentää, vai osoittautuuko investointi vain nykyisen kierrätyspolttoaineen valmistukseen edullisemmaksi.
Käsittelymahdollisuuksia kartoitettiin tutkimalla materiaalin ominaisuuksia ja arvioimalla laitoksen nykyisen laitteiston kykyä käsitellä tuotetta. Materiaalin käsittelyyn pyrittiin löytämään ratkaisuja ottaen huomioon laitoksen asettamat haasteet sekä vaihtoehtojen kannattavuus.
Murskaininvestoinnin tutkinnan ohella työssä analysoitiin paperikonekudoksen uusiokäyttömahdollisuuksia liittyen yrityksen tavoitteisiin sekä tuotannon lähtökohtiin.
Työn perusteella löydettiin ja rajattiin parhaita hankintavaihtoehtoja, joiden pohjalta suoritettiin kannattavuuteen ja hankintaan liittyvien riskien arviointi, jossa todettiin lopputarkasteluun otettujen murskaimien hankinnan olevan kannattavaa. The investment calculations are used to determine whether the company should invest in an industrial shredder that can be used for size reduction of the plastic screen or whether the investment should only be made to renew the current machinery for recovered fuel handling.
The processing possibilities were mapped by examining the properties of the material and by evaluating the current equipment's ability to handle the product. Solutions for handling the material were formed and developed further, taking into account the challenges posed by the plant and the profitability of the alternatives.
In addition to the shredder investment, the reuse possibilities of the material related to the goals of the company and the starting points of production were searched and analysed.
The best purchasing options were discovered and narrowed down based on the assessment of the profitability and procurement risks, which concluded that the purchase of the shredders taken for consideration was profitable. This report serves as a decision-making tool for the company's management
