Opinnäytetyön aiheemme saimme Hyvinkään kaupungilta. Opinnäytetyö tuotettiin yhteistyössä Hyvinkään kaupungin kotihoidon kanssa. Opinnäytetyössä tarkasteltiin laajemmin sairaanhoitajan osaamista ja mitä osaamista heillä tulee olla mobiiliteknologiaan liittyen. Käsitteellisessä viitekehyksessä tarkasteltiin myös laajemmin, digitaalisten palveluiden ja mobiiliteknologian hyödyntämistä terveydenhuollossa.
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kuvata, miten sairaanhoitajat osaavat hyödyntää mobiiliteknologiaa sairaanhoitajan työssä Hyvinkään kotihoidossa. Tavoitteena oli tuottaa tietoa mobiiliteknologisesta osaamisesta sekä siitä, miten mobiililaitteet ovat hyödyntäneet sairaanhoitajia heidän työssään ja miten uutta toimintamallia pystytään vielä kehittämään.
Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena, koska opinnäytetyössä tutkittiin sairaanhoitajien omia kokemuksia mobiiliteknologiaan liittyen. Tutkimus toteutettiin teemahaastatteluilla ja analyysi toteutettiin sisällönlähtöisellä analyysillä. Tutkimuksessa haastateltiin neljää Hyvinkään kotihoidon sairaanhoitajaa, joilla on kokemusta mobiiliteknologiasta. Opinnäytetyö on työelämälähtöinen.
Opinnäytetyön keskeisinä tuloksina todettiin, että sairaanhoitajien kokemukset mobiiliteknologiasta olivat positiiviset, hoidon suunnitelmallisuus on asiakaslähtöistä sekä sairaanhoitajilta vaaditaan laaja-alaista mobiiliteknologista osaamista. Mobiiliteknologiaan liittyi oman työn suunnitelmallisuus ja Hilkka-järjestelmän osaaminen. Kehittämistarpeita havaittiin tietojärjestelmien yhteen sopivuudesta sekä Hilkka-järjestelmän kehittämistarpeissa.
Opinnäytetyön johtopäätöksinä todettiin asiakkaiden hoidonsuunnitellussa eri tietojärjestelmien kohdalla poikkeavuuksia ja lisäksi todettiin, että mobiiliteknologiaa voitaisiin hyödyntää kotihoidossa nykyistä enemmän.
Opinnäytetyön kehittämisehdotuksina esitettiin, että Hilkka- ja Pegasostietojärjestelmän yhteensopivuutta kehitettäisiin, jotta sairaanhoitajien työn organisoiminen ja asiakaslähtöinen hoitotyö olisi sujuvaa.The city of Hyvinkää provided us with the subject of our thesis. The thesis considered,on a wider scale, a nurse’s competence regarding mobile technology, as well as the skills needed by a nurse, when using mobile technology. In the conceptual context, invocation of digital services and mobile technology in health care was viewed on a wider scale.
The goal of this thesis was to describe how well nurses can utilise mobile technology in their work at the home care of Hyvinkää. The aim was to produce information of the know-how of mobile technology as well as the benefit given to nurses by mobile devices, and also how this new operation model could be developed further.
This thesis was implemented as qualitative research, and the objectives were the nurses’ own experiences about mobile technology. The research was done by using themed interviews and the analysis was made as a content analysis. Four Hyvinkää home care nurses with experience of mobile technology were interviewed. This is a work-based thesis.
The key results of the thesis were that the nurses’ experiences of mobile technology were positive, the planning of the care is customer-based and that the nurses are required to have a vast knowledge of mobile technology. The planning of one’s own work was related to mobile technology, as well as knowing how to use the Hilkka-information system. The compatibility of different information systems and the Hilkka-system were observed as development objects.
The conclusion of this thesis was that the planning of customer care was somewhat different between different information systems. It was also stated that mobile technology could be used more in home care, than what is done today. The thesis suggested that the information systems Hilkka and Pegasos should be more compatible in order to make the nurse’s work easier to organise, and customer-based nursing more smoothe
