Valtakunnallisesti sekä paikallisesti on nähtävissä perhepäivähoidon osuuden väheneminen lasten päivähoidossa. Opinnäytetyöllä halusimme kehittää ja huomioida paikallista perhepäivähoitoa. Laatuprojektin tilaajana oli Vimpelin perhepäivähoito ja projekti toteutettiin yhteistyössä Vimpelin perhepäivähoitajien kanssa.
Laatuprojektin tavoitteena oli järjestää koulutuspäivä perhepäivähoitajille ammatti-identiteetin vahvistamiseksi sekä luoda työkalu perhepäivähoitoon Vimpelin varhaiskasvatussuunnitelman toteuttamiseksi. Interventioita pidettiin kaksi perhepäivähoitajille ja kaksi lapsille. Laatuprojektin keskeiset sisällöt konkretisoituivat suurelta osin perhepäivähoitajille pidetyssä koulutuspäivässä. Varhaiskasvatuksen laadun kehittäminen ja arviointi sekä perhepäivähoidon laadunarviointimallit olivat olennainen osa laatuprojektia. Perhepäivähoitajan ammatti-identiteettiin vaikuttavien tekijöiden tukeminen lisää välillisesti perhepäivähoidon laatua. Vimpelin varhaiskasvatuksen arvot olivat laadun lisäksi hyvin olennainen osa projektia. Ne vaikuttivat kaikissa toiminnallisissa osuuksissa.
Uudessa varhaiskasvatuslaissa ja luonnosvaiheessa olevassa Varhaiskasvatussuunnitelman perusteissa (2017) korostuvat yhteistyö sekä osallisuus. Tässä projektissa nämä huomioitiin esimerkiksi vanhempien kuulemisella sekä perhepäivähoitajien mahdollisuudella vaikuttaa koulutuspäivän sisältöön. Opinnäytetyömme toimii pedagogisena mallina, jonka avulla asiakirjoja voi tehdä näkyväksi erityisesti perhepäivähoidossa. Koemme tärkeäksi P.A.T.A. Perhepäivähoidon arkeen toiminnallista apua -työkalun, koska sen avulla voidaan tukea perhepäivähoidon suunnitelmallista ja pedagogista toteutumista. Saamamme palautteen perusteella projekti oli onnistunut.In children’s day care there is a clear decrease in the use of children's family day care locally and nationwide. With this thesis we wanted to regenerate and take into account our local family day care. The work was ordered and done in collaboration with the local family day care of Vimpeli.
The thesis had two targets. First was to organize a staff training day for the child minder and reaffirm their occupational identity. The second target was to create a tool for the family day care. The tool helps them to put into practise early childhood education and care curriculum of Vimpeli. During the fall of 2015 we held four interventions. In the child minders training day the core of the thesis became concrete. The core of the thesis consists of three things; quality development and evaluation of the early childhood education and qualit y assessment models of family day care. By supporting the occupational identity of the child minder we increase the quality of the private day care. The values of Vimpeli’s early childhood education were an essential part of the project.
From the early childhood education law and early childhood education and care curriculum 2017 draft stand out cooperation and participation. We took this into practise by hearing the parents and workers of the family day care. This thesis can function as a pedagogic model. We feel that the tool (P.A.T.A.) we created is valuable because it supports the systematic and pedagogic fulfillment of family day care. Based on the feedback the project was a success
