Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa perehdytysopas palvelukoti Peiponpesään, joka on Euran Kiukaisissa sijaitseva palvelukoti kahdeksalle kehitysvammaiselle asukkaalle. Peiponpesä valmistui keväällä 2013 ja siltä puuttui ajan tasalla oleva perehdytysopas. Opinnäytetyönä tehtävän perehdytysoppaan tavoitteena oli perehdyttää uusia työntekijöitä, sekä opiskelijoita taloon, sekä uusiin tehtäviinsä. Perehdytysopas laadittiin yhteistyössä Peiponpesän vastaavan ohjaajan, sairaanhoitajan, sekä muun hoitohenkilökunnan kanssa. Oppaalla haluttiin kehittää palvelukoti Peiponpesän toimintaa perehdytyksen osalta.
Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuus koostuu kehitysvammaisuuteen, perehdytykseen ja projektiin liittyvästä teoriasta. Perehdytysopas koostuu työnantajan esittelystä, palvelukoti Peiponpesän päivittäiseen toimintaan liittyvistä asioista, asukkaiden esittelystä ja työsuhteeseen liittyvästä teoriatiedosta. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin työelämälähtöisenä projektina kesäkuun 2013 ja syyskuun 2014 välillä.The purpose of this thesis was to plan and create an induction guide for assisted living facility Peiponpesä. Peiponpesä is located in Eura Kiukainen. There lives eihgt mentally retarded persons in Peiponpesä. It was built on March 2013 and it needed a new updated induction guide to help induct new employees and students. The content of the induction guide was planned together with the nurse and the foreman of the Peiponpesä. Peiponpesä´s nursing staff also took part in planning the guide. The induction guide was made to develop procedures in relations to inducting new employees and students.
The theory part of the thesis consists of theory of the mental redardedness, itroduction and project. The induction guide consists of itroduction of the employer and people living in Peiponpesä, daily facilities of the Peiponpesä and theory of the employment relationships. The thesis was executed as a project based on the needs of working life. The project began at June 2013 and was finished on September 2014.
As a result of the thesis the new induction guide is in use of the Peiponpesä. It is printed on paper and also downloaded on computer. Peiponpesä is entitled to make changes on induction guide
