Abstract
This paper revealed a case of female pseudohermaphroditism without formonal unbarance, who was a product of a mother to whom progestin had been administered for 81 days since her second month of pregnancy at which time diagnosis of threatened abortion was made. The baby was 6 months old. The external genitalia was such malformed that th e clitoris was hypertrophic like a penis, the labia majora was fused and well developed without palpable testicle and a vagina was not present. Sex chromatin was 35 per cent and demonstrated female type. Urinary 17-ketosteroid excretion was 0.4 mg per day. Urethrovaginal fistula was not demonstrated by urethrovesicography. The female gonads were confirmed on exploratory laparotomy
