Opinnäytetyömme tarkoituksena oli tehdä jyväskyläläiselle Huoltosilta Oy- nimiselle kiinteistöhuoltoalan yritykselle luonnos ja ohjeet päihdeohjelman laatimiseksi. Vuonna 2004 astui voimaan laki, joka velvoittaa työnantajan laatimaan kirjallisen päihdeohjelman työpaikalleen.
Opinnäytetyötä varten kerättiin tietoa, kuinka päihdeohjelma laaditaan. Kerromme myös yleisesti Suomessa esiintyvistä päihteistä ja niiden historiasta sekä tutkimme päihteistä yhteiskunnalle aiheutuvia kustannuksia. Lisäksi tehtiin päihdekysely Huoltosilta Oy:n esimiehille, jolla haluttiin selvittää päihdeohjelman tarpeellisuutta, sekä kartoittaa päihdeongelmien nykytilannetta yrityksessä. Jokainen kyselyyn vastanneista henkilöistä oli törmännyt työssään päihdeongelmiin ja he halusivat lisätietoa, miten ongelmiin työpaikoilla tulisi reagoida.
Päihteet ja etenkin alkoholi aiheuttavat merkittäviä taloudellisia ja sosiaalisia kustannuksia Työnantajille. Päihdeongelmiin tulisi puuttua mahdollisimman varhaisessa vaiheessa, jotta ongelmat eivät pääsisi kasvamaan suuremmiksi.The subject of our thesis was to design a sketch and give the needed information how to make an intoxicant programme to company named Huoltosilta Oy. The company is a property maintenance firm in Jyväskylä, Finland. In year 2004 a new law was set in Finland, what obligates the employer to create programme about the use intoxicants and the consequences of using intoxicants.
The meaning of the intoxicant programme is to point out the aspirations and policies to prevent the use of intoxicants and give the instruction how to get treatment for the disease.
We collected information for the thesis about the intoxicant programme and the correct ways to produce it. We will also tell about intoxicants that are used in Finland and the history of intoxicants and the costs that are caused to the society of using intoxicants. We produced a small enquiry to the superiors of Huoltosilta Oy about the use of intoxicants in the work community. Everyone that replied to the enquiry, had encountered intoxicant problem at work. They all thought that more information about the subject was needed.
Intoxicants, especially alcohol, causes significant economic and social costs to society of Finland every year. It is crucial to intervene to the problem as early as possible, which may prevent the problem to grow larger
