Insinöörityö on tehty kajaanilaiselle tuotantoyritykselle Lean Management tuotannonohjaukseen liittyvän tuotannon kehittämiseksi.
Insinöörityön tavoitteena oli saada tietoa tuotannon kehittämiseen liittyvästä tuotantolinjan muuntamisesta tuotantosoluun. Tarkoituksena oli saada tietoa siitä, onko uusi tuotantosolu tehokkaampi ja kannattavampi kuin vanha tuotantolinja.
Tutkimus suoritettiin tekemällä työntutkimus kumpaakin tuotantomenetelmään. Työntutkimuksessa selvitettiin tuotteen tekemiseen kuuluvat työvaiheet sekä kellotettiin jokainen työvaihe.
Tässä työssä esitellään työntutkimuksen tekeminen, käydään läpi saatuja tuloksia sekä pohditaan mahdollisia parannuksia tutkittuun kohteeseen. Lisäksi työssä käydään läpi Lean Management tuotannonohjausjärjestelmää sekä tarkastellaan tuotannon historiaa.This Bachelor`s thesis is a study of a company that has adopted lean management as a manufacturing philosophy.
An element of the thesis is to use lean thinking to develop the production process of the company. The company has aimed to improve its effectiveness and achieve a flow process. The thesis was implemented in order to examine critically and to evaluate the usefulness of lean management.
The aim of the thesis was to investigate if the new techniques provide improvements and whether the company achieves savings in its production process.
In the thesis literature in the fields of lean management and process mapping were studied. The most challenging part of the thesis was the process mapping which required a high level of detail and accuracy. The thesis offers a conclusion and recommendations.
The study was successful and the company can apply the findings of the thesis when developing its manufacturing processes
