Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa Raahen seudun hyvinvointikuntayhtymän radiologian yksikölle opiskelijan perehdytysopas. Tavoitteena oli auttaa röntgenhoitajaopiskelijoiden perehdytystä ammattitaitoa edistävällä harjoittelujaksolla. Oppaan toivotaan antavan tukea ohjaajille heidän perehdyttäessään opiskelijaa harjoittelujaksolle. Kohderyhmänä oli Raahen seudun hyvinvointikuntayhtymän radiologian yksikköön tulevat opiskelijat sekä heitä ohjaavat röntgenhoitajat.
Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin kehittämistyönä. Opinnäytetyössä analysoitiin tutkimus- ja teoriatietoa joka käsitteli perehdytystä, opiskelijaohjausta, opiskelua ammattikorkeakoulussa sekä ammattitaitoa edistävää harjoittelua. Näiden tietojen avulla suunniteltiin perehdytysoppaan sisältörunko ja laadittiin opas. Oppaan valmistamiseksi koottiin tietoa myös hyvän perehdytysoppaan suunnittelusta ja toteutuksesta.
Perehdytysoppaaseen on koottu opiskelijalle tärkeää tietoa Raahen seudun hyvinvointikuntayhtymän radiologian yksikön henkilöstöstä, toimintatavoista ja turvallisuuskäytänteistä. Oppaassa käsitellään yksikössä olevia kuvantamislaitteita sekä niiden vastuuhoitajia. Tuotoksen toimivuutta arvioitiin Raahen seudun hyvinvointikuntayhtymän radiologian yksikössä työskentelevien röntgenhoitajien sekä muutaman opiskelijan antaman palautteen pohjalta. Opas on A5-kokoinen lehtinen, joka jaetaan jokaiselle radiologian yksikköön tulevalle opiskelijalle harjoittelun alussa. Jatkossa perehdytysopasta voidaan laajentaa ja asioista voidaan kertoa tarkemmin, mikäli radiologian yksikkö niin haluaa. Radiologian yksiköllä on oikeus myös päivittää perehdytysopasta.The purpose of this thesis was to produce a student orientation guide to Joint Municipal Authority of Wellbeing in Raahe District. The aim of the thesis was to help the radiographer students in orientation that promotes professional training period. In addition, the manual is supposed to provide support to radiographers while orientating the student in the training period. The target group was the radiographers and the students who come to train in Joint Municipal Authority of Wellbeing in Raahe District.
The thesis was carried out as a development work. The written report consists of information that was analyzed by the research and theory dealing with orientation, student counselling, studies at university of applied sciences and content and functional of professional training. Using this information the content frame of the report was made and the guide was carried out.
The guide contains important information of the Joint Municipal Authority of Wellbeing in Raahe District radiology department’s function and safety practise. In addition, the guide describes the department’s imaging modalities and the radiographers that are responsible for the modalities. The guide is an A5 booklet which is distributed to every student that comes to practical training period in the radiology department unit. In the future the guide can be expanded and things can be told in more detail if the radiology department so desires. Radiology department has the rights to update the guide
