Opinnäytetyössä perehdytään päiväkoti- ja sosiaalialan yrittäjyyteen sekä yksityisen päiväkotiyrityksen perustamiseen. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli luoda yksityinen päiväkotiyritys sekä sen liiketoimintasuunnitelma. Opinnäytetyö koostuu teoriaosuudesta ja päiväkodin suunnitteluosuudesta sekä liiketoimintasuunnitelmasta. Teoriaosuudessa luodaan katsaus päivähoitoa ja sosiaalialan yritystoimintaa koskeviin lakeihin sekä yrityksen perustamisen vaatimuksiin. Opinnäytetyön yhteistyökumppanina toimi päiväkotiyrityksen perustanut sosionomi.
Yrityksen liiketoimintasuunnitelma kartoittaa yrityksen toiminta- ja menestymismahdollisuudet. Liiketoimintasuunnitelmaa käytetään myös yritystoiminnan rahoitusta haettaessa.
Sosiaalialan yrittäjyys luo omat haasteensa yrittäjyyteen, sillä niin sanottuna myyntituotteena toimii aineeton palvelu, joka kohdistuu ihmisten hoivaan tai hoitoon. Koska hoito- tai hoivapalvelun kohteena ovat ihmiset, heijastuu myös palvelun laadun taso suoraan asiakkaisiin.
Opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi yksityinen päiväkoti Ihme ja Kumma, joka tarjoaa alle kouluikäisten lasten päivähoitoa. Päiväkodin toiminnan arvopohjana toimivat lapsen omaehtoiseen luovuuteen kannustaminen ja lapsen aito kohtaaminen päivähoidossa. Päiväkodin suunnittelussa painotetaan myös tilojen ja henkilökunnan merkitystä hyvän päivähoidon takaamiseksi. Päiväkoti Ihme ja Kumma suunniteltiin sen toiminnan käynnistämisvaiheeseen asti. Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena ei ole perustaa kyseistä päiväkotia, vaan toimia tulevaisuudessa työkaluna mahdollisesti oman päiväkotiyrityksen perustamiselle.
Opinnäytetyö osoittaa, että jokainen yritys vaatii menestyäkseen toimivan liikeidean sekä todellisen tarpeen yrityksen tarjoamille palveluille. Jotta yritys voisi menestyä, vaaditaan myös yrittäjältä tietynlaisia ominaisuuksia, kuten rohkeutta ja päättäväisyyttä, jotka edesauttavat yrityksen menestymistä.Thesis discusses entrepreneurship in daycare and social field and also foundation of a private day care center. The thesis’ purpose was to create a private day care center and also its business plan. The thesis consists of the theory part and the daycare centers planning part and also of the business plan. The theory part includes a survey of the laws and demands for setting up a day care center and social fields entrepreneurship and also the demands for the foundation of a company. The thesis’ partner was a bachelor of social services who has established a day care center.
The company’s business plan analyzes the business’s operations and possibilities to succeed. The business plan can also be used in applying for financing.
Social field’s entrepreneurship creates its own challenges in the company, because the so called product is an immaterial service that is directed to people’s care. Because the care services’ subject are people, the service’s quality level reflects directly on the client.
The private day care center Ihme ja Kumma was developed as the thesis’ result. Ihme ja Kumma offers daycare for children under school age. The value base of the day care activities is supporting a child’s spontaneous creativity and genuinely encountering the child in the daycare. The premises’ and employees’ significance in guaranteeing good daycare are also emphasized in the planning of the daycare. The day care center Ihme ja Kumma was planned up to its operations’ starting phase. The thesis’ purpose is not to set up the company in question, but to serve as a working tool in a possible foundation of an own company in the future.
The thesis indicates that to succeed every company needs a functioning business idea and a real demand for the services it provides. The entrepreneur has to have certain qualities such as courage and persistence to make the business succeed
