Opinnäytetyön aiheena oli rakennustyömaan logistiikka. Opinnäytetyössä on pohdittu kokonaisvaltaisen suunnittelun merkitystä logistiikan onnistumiseksi koko rakennushankkeen ajan. Esiin on nostettu erilaisia riskejä ahtaan työmaan logistiikan järjestämisestä erityisesti rakennusliikkeen kannalta. Toimeksiantajana toimi NCC Rakennus Oy:n Lahden aluetoimisto. Tavoitteena oli laatia työmaille logistinen toimintamalli, jolla pyritään hallitsemaan työmaan materiaalivirtaa ja helpottamaan logistiikan suunnittelua.
Opinnäytetyössä on esitelty logistiikan perusteet sekä logistiikan merkitys rakentamisessa. Työssä on käsitelty yrityksen projektitason logistiikansuunnittelua sekä nostettu esiin riskejä logistiikan toteuttamisessa ahtaalla työmaalla. Toteutuksessa on hyödynnetty NCC Rakennus Oy:n työmaata Paavolan Älykoti, joka on esitelty opinnäytetyön esimerkkityömaana. Koko opinnäytetyöprojektin ajan olen päässyt tutustumaan toimeksiantajan organisaation sekä työmaan toimintaan. Työmaalla olen keskustellut työnjohdon kanssa logistisista ratkaisuista ja päässyt soveltamaan omia huomioitani käytäntöön. Työssä on lisäksi otettu kantaa työmaan logistiikan järjestämisessä huomioitaviin seikkoihin, joita ovat siirto- ja kuljetuskalusto sekä työturvallisuus.
Opinnäytetyön lopputuloksena on syntynyt logistinen toimintamalli työmaiden käyttöön. Toimintamallissa on tiivistetty opinnäytetyön aikana esiin nousseet logistiikan järjestämisen riskit ja ongelmakohdat. Toimintamallin tarkoitus on toimia työmaan muistilistana logistiikan järjestämisessä.
Opinnäytetyöprojektin aikana nousi esiin paljon mielenkiintoisia huomioita ja rakennuslogistiikka antaa paljon aihetta jatkotutkimukselle. Erityisesti työmaan lähtölogistiikka ja työmaan sisäisten siirtojen järjestäminen olisivat hyviä aiheita tuleville opinnäytetöille.The subject of the bachelor´s thesis was the logistics of a construction site. In the thesis the significance of comprehensive planning was considered for the success of the logistics during the whole building project. Different risks in arranging the logistics on a narrow site were highlighted especially from the point of view of the construction company. The thesis was commissioned by NCC Rakennus Ltd. based in Lahti. The objective was to create a logistics operations model with which an attempt was made to control the material flow on the site and to facilitate the planning of the logistics.
In the thesis the fundamentals of logistics and the significance of logistics in building were presented. In the work the logistics planning on the project level of the company was dealt with and risks in carrying out the logistics on a narrow site were highlighted. In the realization, a site of NCC, Älykoti of Paavola, was utilised and demonstrated as an example site of the thesis. On the site the logistics solutions were discussed with the supervisors and the author’s own observations could be adapted in practice. In the work the points to be observed in arranging logistics on the site were discussed further, like the transfer and transport equipment and safety at work.
A logistics operations model to be used on sites was created as a final result of the thesis. The risks and problem areas in arranging the logistics arisen during the work were summarized in the operations model. The purpose of the operations model is to function as a check list on the site in arranging the logistics.
During the thesis project, many interesting observations arose, and construction logistics gives much occasion to further study. Especially the start logistics of the site and the arranging of transfers inside the site would be good subjects for future bachelor´s theses
