Landbouw en veeteelt zijn belangrijke economische activiteiten, omdat ze ons voedsel leveren. Tegenwoordig wordt geprobeerd om een zo groot mogelijke opbrengst te krijgen tegen minimale kosten. In de veeteelt worden daarom stoffen aan het voer toegevoegd. Tegen het gebruik van vitamines en mineralen bestaat weinig bezwaar, maar de toevoeging van geneesmiddelen is omstreden, zeker als dit uitsluitend gebeurt om de groei van het dier te bevorderen. ...
