El presente documento tiene como objeto evidenciar
la mejora no solo ambiental que produce la gestión integrada
en procura de la certificación de playas, sino además los incentivos
económicos que reciben los prestadores de servicios
turísticos como factor de competitividad frente a destinos no
certificados. El método consistió en un estudio cualitativo
basado en la revisión documental de autores involucrados
en la investigación de la certificación ambiental en espacios
litorales, que demuestran cómo la certificación puede detener
los daños ambientales causados por el turismo y ampliar los
valores económicos asociados a la playa. Los resultados obtenidos
revelan el impacto económico de la gestión integrada
de playas sobre la variabilidad en las tarifas hoteleras y demás
operadores turísticos, identificando en la regeneración de
playas un aumento sobre el número de turistas y el retorno
exitoso de una buena inversión.The purpose of this document is to demonstrate the
environmental improvement that not only produces integrated
management in search of beach certification, but also the
economic incentives that tourism service providers receive as
a factor of competitiveness against uncertified destinations.
The method consists of a qualitative study based on the documentary
review of authors involved in the investigation
of the environmental certification in coastal spaces that have
as certification can stop the environmental damages caused
by tourism and expand the economic values associated with
the beach. The results obtained reveal the economic impact
of integrated beach management on the variability in hotel
rates and other tour operators, identifying in the regeneration
of beaches an increase in the number of tourists and the
successful return of a good investment
