La elaboración de instrumentos en hueso con anterioridad a la aparición de Homo sapiens moderno ha sido descrita en numerosos yacimientos de Paleolítico Medio, entre ellos en Lezetxiki y Axlor. En este artículo se pretende evaluar si estos artefactos pueden considerarse el resultado de comportamientos técnicos dirigidos a elaborar y/o utilizar esos soportes. Estas observaciones son extensibles a otros conjuntos en los que se mencionan restos óseos con atributos similares. En esta revisión se describen los procesos y contextos que explican la presencia de esas modificaciones y a las que se les ha atribuido un significado tecnológico.The existence of bone technological behaviour has been suggested before the apparition of anatomically Homo sapiens. Flaked bones and other bone modifications have been described in several Middle Palaeolithic sites, such Lezetxiki and Axlor. In this paper it can evaluate if these modified bones were intentionally shaped. This review allows explaining the processes linked with these modifications which usually have been interpreted like bone technological behaviour.Egungo Homo sapiens baino aurretiko hezurrezko tresnen lanketa Mendebalde Europako aztarnategi askotan (tartean, Lezetxiki eta Axlorren) deskribatuta izan da. Hantzeko ezaugarriak erakusten dituzten beste multzoetako hezurrezko aztarnak baloratzeko aplikagarriak dira hemen aipatutakoak.
