The authors analyze interrelationships between dermatoglyphic markers and psychological characteristics of a person. The study tests the hypothesis that individuals with high empathy scores have some dermatoglyphic features. During the study, dermatoglyphs of 80 respondents were studied, including students and teachers of psychology and medicine. Comparison of various dermatoglyphs revealed that in individuals with high levels of empathy, a special biomarker in the form of 3–6 independent vertical furrows is formed in the sublittle area of the triraudius d.Изучаются взаимосвязи дерматоглифических маркеров и психологических характеристик личности. В исследовании проверяется гипотеза, согласно которой у лиц с высокими показателями эмпатии имеются дерматоглифические особенности. В ходе исследования были изучены дерматоглифы 80 респондентов, включая студентов и преподавателей психологии и медицины. Сравнение различных дерматоглифов выявило, что у лиц с высокими показателями эмпатии в подмизинцевой зоне трираудиуса D формируется особый биомаркер в виде 3–6 самостоятельных вертикальных борозд
